Do golf buggy style vehicles have to be charged in a certain way, or certain area, and do they create fumes when charging?

Battery electric vehicles should be charged when batteries are discharged to approximately 80%. To obtain optimum charging, 12 hour charge cycle is preferred. Vehicles should be charged in open ventilated area where fumes can escape.
